Area educational facilities include the University of Southern California (USC), UCLA, American Film Institute Conservatory, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles Film School, and Southwestern Law School. Local highways include Interstate I-5, I-10, and US Route 101. Public transportation is provided by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Amtrak also serves the area.
